Plenaries at The Conference – Five Lectures

Innovative projects, the use of digital skills and strategies in Croatia in the fourth industrial revolution are all topics of this year’s plenaries

The morning at the 12th Open Integrations Day is reserved for lectures.

 

The focus of the lectures is on innovations as drivers of development and the adoption and application of digital skills, knowledge and technology in various segments of Croatian society. Five speakers will give a contribution to the umbrella theme of the conference speaking about their sector, successful projects and strategy in Croatia in the fourth industrial revolution.

 

The introductory lecture will be held by Mihovil Škarica, the state secretary for the Ministry of Administration. The lecture talks about the action plan of the Ministry, with which Croatia wants to create an effective, affordable, digital public administration.

 

Vedrana Jelušić Kašić director for Croatia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Hungary, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will speak about Croatia as an investment destination and the role of the EBRD in the economic development of the Republic of Croatia,

 

What follows is a presentation of the project "Development of Dubrovnik Airport". Challenges and the success of the project will be presented by Roko Tolić, director of Dubrovnik airport.

 

Josko Dorić, Assistant Minister in the Ministry of Interior will speak about another successful project which demonstrates innovation and capacities of the technology sector and the ICT industry - joining the Schengen area.

 

The plenary session of the conference will be concluded with a motivational lecture "Growth and change" by Josipa Majić, entrepreneur and innovator, creator of Teddy the Guardian.
